The Tennis Club will be hosting a Tennis & BBQ event on Thursday 22nd August.(POSTPONED BY 1 WEEK)
Format will be the usual American Tournament with entry open to all Adult Members.
Play will be from 7:00pm until 11:00pm on Thursday 24th August
Entry is £5 per person which will include BBQ and plenty of tennis
The event is open to all adult and student category members and is a fun mixed doubles event with food and refreshments to follow – all for only £5
While pre-registration is not compulsory it would be helpful for us to guage the numbers attending. If you expect to attend please reply to this email (secretary@tenniskillen.com) with your name.
For new members not familiar with the set up, it is similar to club night doubles and is an ideal format for players of all standards including beginners. Each player will play a number of 15-20 minute doubles matches with different partners over the course of the evening with the club allocating the different partners as the night progresses.
