Summer 2026 Junior Singles Box League.
For JUNIOR members of all abilities who want to play competitive singles matches this summer. Age 10 - 18 years.
ENTRY CLOSES at midnight on Friday 5th June.
£5 entry.
Entry is extended for junior members aged 10 - 18 years for the Summer 2026 Junior Singles Box League.
Entries in by midnight on Friday 5th June.
To enter, either, sign your name on the sheet in the clubhouse, or, message with player name to Charlie on 07801 428427.
Boxes will be comprised of 4/5 players of similar ability.
Players will be expected to complete their matches between mid-June and mid-August.
At least one parent should supervise the junior members whilst they are at the club playing their match.
Entry Fee
Entry Fee : £5 per person payable regardless if you end up not playing for any reason.
Place £5 in an envelope and label it with Junior Box League Entry and your name. Put the envelope in the box used for court light payments.
Match Formats
All matches will be first to 9 games with a tie break (first to 7 points, win by 2) at 8 games each.
All deuces will be short deuce.
Parents should help organise matches if required.
Please book 90 mins slots rather than 2 hours to help free courts for other players (90 mins should be enough with short deuce and a 5 min warmup).
Please be on time for all your matches.
Match results should be submitted online within 24 hours by the parent of the winning player.
Who Should Play
This box league format is suitable for players of all standards, including beginners.
All players will be graded and placed in a box with players of a similar standard.
This league is open to all junior club members aged 10 - 18 years.
Only enter if you expect to be able to complete all of your matches.
