The Committee have discussed how we can look to accommodate those players missing the Tuesday Night Adult Club Nights.
As we hope you will understand, it is not possible to comply with Government Guidelines in relation to Covid19 and run the normal weekly Adult Clubnight sessions.
As a compromise we have decided to introduce a RESTRICTED INVITATION ONLY CLUB NIGHT FORMAT which will be open each week to a strictly limited number of players.
FORMAT
Players need to Apply : Club members who wish to be considered for Tuesday club night in August must by Saturday 15th August email secretary@tenniskillen.com and request inclusion giving name and mobile number and confirming if you wish to serve with your own tennis balls.
Club Nights in August will be Tuesday 18th and Tuesday 25th from 8pm – 10pm
Selection Process : John will select a maximum of 20 players to play each Tuesday
Notification : Players will be notified by text by latest Monday night each week if they have been selected to play the following night.
Refreshments : Refreshments will not be served at the half way point.
Notes
Please only put your name down if you are going to play.
If changed circumstances prevent you from taking your place at club night, please text John or Maxine as soon as you can. A substitute may be glad of the opportunity to play.
No players can turn up for Club Night unless they have received a invitation text for that specific night
John will use his discretion in selecting players to try and ensure as many players as possible get access to club night tennis over the coming weeks
These arrangements are on a Draft basis and will be subject to amendment going forward as required
Tennis balls will be shared across the group. If you wish to serve with your own balls please ensure you bring these with you on the night, clearly labelled with your own initials and let John know in advance.
If successful there will be a separate email sent at the end of August for players to apply for September Club Nights.
