MATCHES : SCORING

• 2 FULL SETS (win by 2- tiebreak at 6-6) and CHAMPIONSHIP TIE-BREAK (first to 10 win by 2)
• All matches will be played with SHORT DEUCE
• 1 point per set won and 1 point to each team for playing the match

(eg1 : Win 2-1 you get 3 pts opponent get 2pts)
(eg2 : Win 2-0 you get 3 pts opponent get 1pts)
(eg3 : Win by walkover - You get 2 pts / opponent gets 0)
(eg4 : Don't sort out the walkover - both players get no points )

• Winner responsible for entering scores via online booking system.

COURTS ARE BUSY

• IMPORTANT : Cancel any court bookings as soon as you become aware that you will not be using that slot
• Arrange your matches sooner rather than leaving it to the end
• Remember, it is more difficult to arrange doubles times so get your matches sorted in good time.
• Make yourself aware of your partner's holiday plans to ensure you get your matches played even if your holidays overlap.

ARRANGING GAMES:

• Good idea if someone in your group sets up a WHATSAPP GROUP to help arrange matches
• All players' contacts are available on the court booking system under members directory and within the league boxes
• Please make sure your own contact details are showing correctly on the system to ensure other players can contact you effectively. (Contact Mark (07920057426) if you are having any problems)
• If a person texts you to arrange games, please reply as quickly as possible
• Please be fair to your opponents and give a walk-over if you can’t play and a person has made fair efforts to arrange alternative matches with you.
• If a person does not reply to any texts try calling – If there is no response by the end of a round you may take a Walk-Over
• Players will need to book courts online for their matches and show all 4 players names
• If you have to cancel a court booking please do so as early as possible so that others can use the court slot
• Please make the maximum effort to play all 5 matches.
• Be sure to check in online when you arrive to play your match
• To facilitate arrangement of matches all players must show their mobile no. on the court booking system (Check your privacy settings when you sign in to court booking system)

SCORING AND LEAGUE TABLES for the league will be handled through the online booking system, which all members are now using.
